How To Make Best Pizza Dough

This Easy Homemade Pizza Dough recipe yields the best ever homemade pizza in 30 minutes.

It’s made with only 5 ingredients and does not require any special talents.

 And  it is   gluten-free option!

Easy Homemade Pizza Dough: Ingredients & Substitutions
  •     All-purpose flour.  Mostly i prefer a mixture of whole wheat & all-purpose flour to make this easy pizza crust recipe,
  • I recommend substituting 1/2 to 1 cup of the all-purpose flour for whole wheat flour,
  •  You can also use a 1:1 gluten-free all-purpose baking flour with great results,
  •     Sugar. honey can be used in place of sugar,
  •     olive oil. Any neutral tasting oil works perfectly in this recipe.

Toppings. The unanimous pizza topping of choice for my family is pepperoni! My hubby prefers turkey pepperoni (win)! But you can top your dough with anything…let your imagination run wild! My personal favorite is a little drizzle of balsamic vinegar, spinach, green peppers and goat cheese.

Pizza dough is a yeasted dough which requires active dry yeast. Make sure the check the expiration date on the yeast package! Yeast that is too old may be dead and won't work.

You can use all purpose flour instead of the bread flour that is called for in the recipe, but bread flour is higher in gluten than all-purpose flour and will make a crispier crust for your pizza.

Cup measurements can vary depending on how you are scooping the flour (we fluff the flour, lightly scoop it, and level with a knife). So I recommend using a kitchen scale to measure out the flour amounts by weight. This is the only way you'll get a consistently accurate measurement.
